Media Club

Media plays a significant role in today’s society and has enormous power to change the way we look at the world, shape our opinions and redefine our values. Media is known as the fourth pillar of democracy due to its important role in shaping public opinion.

The Nasr School Media Club aims at building a strong foundation in students in comprehending different technologies available in Media and use them as tools to carve out a niche for themselves in the ever-changing world. The Media club organises talks by industry experts like journalists, Radio Jockey etc. To strive towards innovation and excellence in all strides of communication medium, it conducts activities such as poster making, comic strips, designing magazine cover page etc.

The club also recognises the importance of organising field trips to provide hands on knowledge about the working of media. During the academic year 2022-23, apart from the usual activities students were taken on a field trip to the printing press of ‘The Ethemaad Urdu Daily’ where they learnt how the growth of science has brought tremendous changes in the printing technology. It also helped them identify the pivotal role played by an impartial media.
