Student-Exchange Programme

Student-Exchange Programme

At Nasr, student exchange programmes with schools abroad are encouraged because they catalyse the growth potential of students and alsoprovide a wide exposure to new cultures and educational standards. They help to develop inter-personal relationships and enable the young students to become global citizens. They also provide an insight into the study patterns, besides improving the social and linguistic skills of the students.

The very essence of these student exchange programs lies in the saying ‘Unity in Diversity’. Students who take up these programs are exposed to a number of opportunities which will help them build a career in future. These programs provide a platform to develop their networking base and global friendship. It will enable them to develop a better understanding of global issues.

On completion of these programs, students develop a feeling of accomplishment which in future will help them to make independent decisions and deal with issues in a completely new perspective.

In the past, Nasr School successfully ran two student exchange programmes – one with Shiomachi Junior High School, Miyoshi city, Japan and the other with Lise Meitner Gymnasium and Heilwig Gymnasium, Hamburg, Germany.

Though Covid 19 played spoilsport, we hope to revive the student exchange programmes soon because at Nasr we believe that when people come together, speak to one another and share their common experiences then their common humanity is revealed.
