Tourism Club
The Tourism Club was formed at Nasr School to enable studentsappreciate the importance of travel and tourism. There was a need to educate them about the rich natural & cultural heritage tourism present in our country and sensitise them to various aspects of Tourism industry.
The members of the club are made aware of tourism as a tool for sustainable development. It helps them to develop and encourage the already existing passion for travelling among members and opens a new world of opportunities for them.
The club organizes various activities in school which includes screening of travel documentaries, solving crossword puzzles based on cities and islands to make the students aware of different unexplored places around the world.
The club also helps students to learn about making arrangements to visit places, live in a different environment for leisure, educational or business purposes, and make tours a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Inthe academic year 2022-23, the members of the club in collaboration with Telangana Tourism went on a ‘Heritage Walk’ from Charminar to BadshahiAshurkhana, where the students witnessed various ancient palaces, marvellousarchitectureand awe-inspiring structures. It was both an educational and pleasurable experience for the members.
The Tourism Club believes in the quote, ‘Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow’ as ‘travel expands the mind and fills the gap.’
