Houses

Students belong to one of the five houses – Amethyst House, Emerald House, Ruby House, Sapphire House and Topaz House – and they remain within their respective house during their tenure in the school.

At Nasr, emphasis is laid on teaching the students the benefits of team work and good behaviour. Hence, the school House System is an important part of student life. Every child is allotted a House at the time of joining. The Houses are named after precious gems signifying the latent potential of each child who like a precious gem, when polished sparkles and shines.

Amethyst House

Amethyst symbolizes focus,determination, values strength, stability, and balance. The badge with Lamp and Plough represents the team's willingness to work hard and overcome obstacle. The lamp symbolizes the power of hard work andthe light it brings. The students harbour our motto “Work is worship” which emphasises hard work and perseverance.

Emerald House

Emerald, ‘The Jewel of Kings’ symbolizes wit, eloquence and foresight. Aptly, the motto of Emerald house is ‘Truth of Life’. The green colour badge has a sapling with the rising sun in the background. Students of Emerald house receive the guidance to shine in life by following nature’s message of purity, truth and honesty.

Ruby House

The red in Ruby is the mark of passion. It denotes valour, determination and grit. The Ruby house is the epitome of courage and power accompanied by tranquillity and solitude. It has the emblem of flying doves with olive leaves signifying peace. The house upholds the motto “Peace with Honour.” It depicts how one needs courage to follow peace.

Sapphire House

Sapphire house is named after the precious stone. It is generally believed that Sapphire keeps the mind calm and focused. It also stands for loyalty and faithfulness. The motto of Sapphire house is "Unity is strength".

Topaz House

The motto of the Topaz House is ‘Knowledge is Power.’ Knowledge is the true power that always remains with us. It makes us powerful and empowers us to win over any condition. Knowledge can open doors to success and unite people like never before, and it is only true knowledge that can help a person bloom.
