Nasr Model United Nations

The Nasr Model United Nations has been incepted with the intention of conducting Model United Nations Conferences at the Intra School and Inter school level.

The club is managed by the Student Body, consisting of senior students elected by the members. Model United Nations simulate the different agencies of the United Nations. Sustainable goals, current political topics, human rights issues form the agendas of the agencies. Students become the ambassadors of countries and present papers, debate, strategise and try to find viable solutions to the topics. In doing so, they gain knowledge of the world around, they learn diplomacy, they gain confidence to voice opinions and develop confidence. Students enjoy the experience as these conferences are conducted and managed by them.

This year a training regarding the rules and regulations of taking part in an MUN was given to the club members. The next edition of NMUN will be held in June,2023.
