The ISC section was inaugurated in 1988, and as in charge of this section, I was to help students choose the various subjects according to their aptitude, which wouldallow to mould their future.
My ideology is to imbibe good moral values in young students. They are being influenced by technology, mass media and social groups and have lost track of moral values like truth, humility, charity etc. I try to emphasise this aspect and correlate it with the topics I teach, as I believe character-building is an integral part of teaching.
Gandhiji, Rabindranath Tagore, Vivekananda are respected even now because of their good values.
A rich man will be respected as long as he has wealth, but good character will leave an indelible impression on the next generation.
